The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa throws a lazy head kick

and Hartman counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hartman.
Hartman avoiding damage as Balboa throws knees to the body.

Hartman gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Balboa is looking to stand up but Hartman isn't so interested in that idea.
Balboa wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Hartman manages to pass to side control.

Hartman in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Balboa tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Hartman!
