Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryoto Kameda (ranked 6361 p4p, 462 weight class) and Paul Lewis (ranked 6593 p4p, 469 weight class). Ryoto Kameda has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryoto Kameda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Lewis!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kameda darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Lewis looks to land a combination but Kameda avoids it well.
Kameda stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lewis.

Lewis rushes Kameda and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Lewis looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Lewis lands a nice uppercut.
Kameda tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Lewis misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Kameda.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Lewis.

Lewis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lewis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kameda moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
It looked like Kameda wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Kameda tries to land a front kick but Lewis steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kameda.
Lewis is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Kameda tries a head kick but it misses.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kameda tries to clinch but Lewis is having none of it.
Lewis appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
A jab from Kameda finds it's way through Lewis's defenses.
Kameda connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lewis's hands.

Lewis darts in and clinches Kameda up against the cage.

Lewis goes for a takedown attempt but Kameda pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Kameda throws a push kick but Lewis slaps the foot to one side.
Lewis is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

and Kameda counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Lewis tries for a takedown but Kameda sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Lewis takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Kameda lands with a shot to the body.
Kameda looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Lewis with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kameda to score with a decent uppercut.
Kameda scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Kameda paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Lewis misses with a two punch combination.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kameda smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Kameda gets tackled into the cage by Lewis. Lewis maintains the clinch.
Kameda misses with a body punch.
Kameda scores with a shoulder strike.
Kameda is working Lewis over against the cage.
Kameda misses with a hook from the clinch.
Lewis lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

It looks like Ryoto Kameda has been cut.
A nice left hand lands by Kameda.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Lewis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lewis takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Lewis lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Kameda throws out a loose jab but Lewis uses good head movement to avoid it.

Lewis rushes Kameda and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Lewis manages to break the clinch.
Lewis walks into a jab.
Lewis shoots in looking for a takedown but Kameda manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lewis's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Ryoto Kameda has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Lewis.
Lewis fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Kameda has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Lewis.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Lewis checks a leg kick.
Kameda tries to clinch up.
Ryoto Kameda is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lewis walks into a left hand.
Kameda lands with a hook. Lewis tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Lewis throws a wild body kick that Kameda sees coming a mile off.
Kameda feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Lewiss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Lewis rushes Kameda and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Kameda misses with a punch on the inside.

Lewis successfully pulls guard.
Lewis is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Kameda stands and steps away. Lewis gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Lewis stalks Kameda and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kameda's face. Kameda staggers backwards, shaken.
Kameda bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Lewis's head.

Lewis takes the fight into the clinch.
Lewis works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Lewis breaks the clinch.
Lewis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
It looked like Kameda wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Lewis misses with a takedown
and Lewis takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kameda throws a poor cross that misses
and Lewis connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lewis takes the fight into the clinch.
Kameda scores with a shoulder strike.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Lewis.
Lewis blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Lewis breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kameda throws a hook but Lewis avoids it easily.
Kameda tries to close the distance and clinch but Lewis swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lewis throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Kameda is breathing heavily.

Kameda tries to keep at a distance but Lewis has taken the fight into the clinch.
Lewis stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Lewis lands with a right to the head.
Lewis blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Lewis has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kameda uses from the top position.
Lewis looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Lewis has his feet on Kameda's thighs here. He's pushed Kameda off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Kameda screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
