Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Samson Wills (ranked 205 p4p, 27 weight class) and Nevzorov Stepanovich (ranked 1933 p4p, 214 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wills misses with a straight right.
Stepanovich changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Stepanovich bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
The fighters circling - Wills throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Wills moves away from the strike by Stepanovich.
Wills has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Yaw-Yan Ardigma in the buildup to the fight.
Stepanovich shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wills pinned against the cage. Wills gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Donk. Stepanovich catches Wills right on the button with a cross.
Stepanovich throws a lazy right hand but Wills sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Stepanovich has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wills throws a jab but it's blocked by Stepanovich.
Stepanovich looks to land a left hand but Wills moved out of range nicely.

Stepanovich shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Wills's guard.
Wills has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Stepanovich has passed into side control.

Stepanovich thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Wills wants to control but Stepanovich postures up.
Wills tries to improve position but can't.
Wills knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stepanovich on the ground.

Stepanovich goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Wills rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Stepanovich's guard! Nice work there by Wills!

Wills is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Stepanovich has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Wills is looking to defend but Stepanovich has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Wills! Stepanovich pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Wills taps out and this one is all over!
