Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cai Jia (ranked 711 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erlend Jahr (ranked 1582 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good shot there by Jia.
Jia connects with a jab.
Jia ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Jia seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Nice jab there from Jia.
Jahr fails with the takedown.
Jahr gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Jia lands with an overhand left.

Jahr takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Jia stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Jia thuds his right hand into Jahr's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Jia lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Jahr has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Jahr there as he acknowledges the shot.

Jia wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Nice straight punches there by Jia. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Jia.

Jia lunges at Jahr with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jahr's hand.
Jahr is still on wobbly legs! Can Jia finish him?
Jahr walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Jia is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
A telegraphed right hand from Jia misses the target.
Jahr seems to have recovered his senses.

Cai Jia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Erlend Jahr.

Jia bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Jahr on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Jia connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Jia fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Jia lands the left hand.
Jahr gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Jia lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Jia slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jia lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Jahr out cold! Jahr is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Cai Jia!
A very excited looking Cai Jia made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
