Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stig Jahr (ranked 1473 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaensak Sor Ploenchit (ranked 1318 p4p, 167 weight class). Kaensak Sor Ploenchit will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, David Hoff and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sor Ploenchit throws a shot to the body.
Jahr has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Sor Ploenchit throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jahr drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Jahr tries for a kimura but Sor Ploenchit is defending well.
Jahr looks up at the clock and then as Sor Ploenchit takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Jahr smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Sor Ploenchit really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jahr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jahr postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Sor Ploenchit out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Jahr goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Stig Jahr!
After the fight, Stig Jahr was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
In defeat, Kaensak Sor Ploenchit stepped up to the mic, saying 'You are just lucky today!'.
