Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keiki Hale (ranked 1234 p4p, 24 weight class) and Daniel Kivela (ranked 2569 p4p, 108 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Daniel Kivela!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kivela fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hale to the ground. Kivela is now in Hale's guard.
My spies in Temp Spar Gym inform me that Kivela has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

We've been hearing good reports from Hale's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
