The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Kurtzov has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kurtzov jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dogmock walks away with a smile on his face. Kurtzov gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Kurtzov clinches.
Kurtzov tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dogmock just stands there and leans against the cage.
Kurtzov tries to pull guard but Dogmock won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Oleksander Kurtzov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dogmock is trying to maintain a safe position but Kurtzov gets an underhook and turns Dogmock into the cage.
Dogmock is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dogmock is sitting in close to Kurtzov's body. Kurtzov has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Dogmock is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Dogmock is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Kurtzov.
