PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nate Dillinger (ranked 2279 p4p, 268 weight class) and Alzonz Appalusu (ranked 1749 p4p, 220 weight class). Appalusu is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rocky theme song. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alzonz Appalusu!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Appalusu shoots for a double leg takedown but Dillinger sprawls well. He's pushed Appalusu's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Appalusu throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dillinger's waist but Dillinger gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Appalusu off to one side.
Appalusu's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Dillinger connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Appalusu scrambles back to his feet.

Dillinger got a little sloppy there for a moment and Appalusu has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dillinger has managed to get both his arms back between Appalusu's legs - danger averted.

Appalusu has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Dillinger should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Appalusu has tightened it up now! Dillinger should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
