The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marianos drops Banks with a nice combination! Marianos dives into Banks's guard, looking to finish!

It looks like Tyrod Banks has been cut.
Banks trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Marianos throws a good cross that connects.
Good leg kick by Marianos there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Banks looks gassed!
Banks shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Marianos as he jumps to the side.
Banks leaves his chin hanging out and Marianos seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Banks crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
