Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Turd McPherson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Full Time Panda!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Panda shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. McPherson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Panda trying to control but McPherson is working from the bottom.
Panda is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
McPherson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

McPherson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McPherson has an active guard here but Panda has managed to pass into half guard.

We've been hearing good reports from McPherson's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

McPherson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Panda scores with a couple of nice shots.
McPherson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Panda is working away from the top position though.
McPherson is not content to let Panda control the position.
Panda has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Panda lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Panda lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Panda can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as McPherson is looking to escape.
Panda postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. McPherson looks a forlorn figure.

Panda is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. McPherson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.


McPherson is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Panda looking to finish McPherson with some ground and pound. This is bad for McPherson!
Oh McPherson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Panda connects with a bit shot that sees McPherson covering up! More strikes from Panda and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Panda is our winner by TKO!
