The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Avenarius has Santos up against the cage in a clinch.
Avenarius makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Avenarius is leaning against Santos and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Santos trying to stall but Avenarius improves his position.
Avenarius cracks Santos with a nice body shot.
Santos is trying to maintain a safe position but Avenarius gets an underhook and turns Santos into the cage.
Avenarius takes an elbow to the forehead.

It looks like Professor Avenarius has been cut.
Santos is trying to break the clinch but Avenarius has him pressed against the cage.
Avenarius lands a right hand.
Avenarius unloads a knee to the mid-section. Santos lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Santos looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Avenarius pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Santos drops his hands momentarily and Avenarius needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Santos just on the top of the head. Santos drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Santos - he's done!
