Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Babaylan Thumying!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thumying cracks Smith with a good jab.
Smith takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Smith misses with a few strikes there.
Smith looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
It looks like Jay Smith has been cut.
Thumying gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smith postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Thumying is trying to control the position but Smith postures up.
Thumying avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Thumying is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Smith missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Thumying can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Smith controls the pace.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Smith postures up.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Smith shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Thumying's guard.

Smith postures up in Thumying's guard and throws a big left but Thumying blocks it.

Smith makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Smith got a little sloppy there for a moment and Thumying has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Smith has managed to get both his arms back between Thumying's legs - danger averted.
Smith decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Smith misses with a takedown attempt
and Thumying cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Thumying circles away from the clinch attempt
and Thumying counters with a nice uppercut.
Babaylan Thumying is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Thumying slaps away a takedown attempt from Smith, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Smith misses with a jab, cross combination.
Thumying connects with the punch.
Smith clinches with his opponent.
Smith manages to break the clinch.
Smith scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Thumying avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Smith.
Thumying has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Smith is working away from the top position though.
Smith looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Smith has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Smith seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Thumying for as long as he can get away with.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Smith fails with an attempt to clinch.
Thumying sends Smith crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Thumying is motioning to the referee to let Smith up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Smith is rocked!
Thumying lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Oh Smith is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jay Smith is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Thumying lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
