Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thai Boxer (ranked 19225 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Ward (ranked 3666 p4p, 0 weight class). Ward has chosen Spazz - Crush Kill Destroy as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Thai Boxer has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Thai Boxer seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Boxer pinned against the cage. Boxer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Boxer misses with a hook. Ward ducked under it nicely.
Ward doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Boxer counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Max Ward has been cut.

Ward scores with a takedown into Boxer's guard.
Ward trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Ward wants to control from the top but Boxer keeps moving.
Ward throws a big elbow that misses.
Boxer has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Boxer wants to get back to his feet but Ward is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Ward throws a big right hand that misses.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Ward throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Boxer's waist but Boxer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ward off to one side.
Boxer is looking to counter punch.
Thai Boxer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Ward.
A looping hook to the body misses from Boxer. Ward does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ward shoots for a takedown but Boxer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Thai Boxer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Boxer lands a nice hook to Ward's body. Ward takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Ward is aggressively charging in as Boxer backs up avoiding any damage. Boxer tosses out a jab and Ward runs right into it face first! Ward is out cold! Boxer dropped down on all fours and is barking in Ward's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
