Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lonzo Ball (ranked 4692 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Foster (ranked 4918 p4p, 0 weight class). Ball comes into the arena with Mars, the Bringer of War blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Sean Foster enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foster defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ball.
Foster looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Foster preventing the sweep.
Foster chips away with some ground and pound.
Ball looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Foster passes into side control.
Ball is looking for a sweep.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ball is working hard here to advance position.
Ball looking for a sweep but Foster has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Ball sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Foster is looking to take a break and control but Ball is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Foster stalling away here and it's allowed Ball to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Foster tries to free his leg and advance position but Ball is retaining full guard.

Ball wants to sweep here but Foster controlling him for the moment.
Foster must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Ball is breathing heavily.
Ball has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Foster can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Foster trying to control but Ball is working from the bottom.
Ball bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Foster's guard.

Ball wants to pass the guard but Foster is keeping the position.
Foster is trying to control the position but Ball postures up.
Foster throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Ball drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ball jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Ball content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Foster wants to stand and escape but Ball is having none of it.
Ball advances position into side control!
Ball thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Ball is trying to get an arm triangle but Foster is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ball tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ball has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Ball wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Foster, who protects the arm well.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Ball looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lonzo Ball dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Ball gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Foster to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Foster lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Ball is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Foster can do to turn this around?

Ball is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Foster avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Ball.
Ball passes to side control.
Foster really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ball. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Foster tries to bench press Ball off him but Ball keeps the position.
Ball is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Foster has escaped the position, nice work there.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Foster tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ball wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Foster regains half guard.
Lonzo Ball overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Ball seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Foster is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
