Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Petey Williams (ranked 3095 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marius Wieneke (ranked 3148 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams comes to the cage accompanied by Wild Thing. Wieneke comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Satyricon - K.I.N.G kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Petey Williams has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Petey Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marius Wieneke!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Steve Montenegro and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams fails to land the takedown.
Williams looks for a takedown but Wieneke sprawls well.
Wieneke throws a right and a left that Williams avoids nicely.
Wieneke throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Williams closes the distance and clinches up with Wieneke, looking for a takedown. Williams pushes Wieneke against the cage but Wieneke circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Petey Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Williams avoids a punch combination nicely.
Williams went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Wieneke defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Williams.

Wieneke has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head and Williams goes down! Wieneke dives on top of him - Williams manages to get guard.
Williams is rocked!
It looks like Petey Williams has been cut.
Wieneke scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Oh Williams is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wieneke postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Williams covers up, he's hurt! Wieneke keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Wieneke and the ref steps in to end the fight! Wieneke can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marius Wieneke!
A relieved looking Marius Wieneke thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
