The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uzdenov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kazana sprawls well initially but Uzdenov persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Kazana is trying to control but can't.
Kazana is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Kazana has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

My spies in Cozad MMA New York inform me that Uzdenov has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Uzdenov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kazana with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Uzdenov lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Kazana! More strikes land and this one is all over! Uzdenov jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
