Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Conor Cupido (ranked 6781 p4p, 458 weight class) and Tylon Usmen (ranked 24477 p4p, 475 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jorge Garcia and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Usmen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Cupido looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Usmen wants to control from the top but Cupido keeps moving.

Cupido has his foot on Usmen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Usmen works his way back into a safe position though.
Usmen is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Usmen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Cupido manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Usmen manages to get himself to full guard.

Usmen is trying to stand up here but Cupido is controlling him well.
Cupido is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Usmen is just riding it out for now. Cupido eventually gives up the hold.

Cupido is stalling here. Usmen is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Cupido seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Usmen has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

We've been hearing good reports from Cupido's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Usmen takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

letting Cupido counter with a right hand.
Cupido scores with a one two! Usmen had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Usmen lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Tylon Usmen tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
