Gumption loads up on a big right hand but Pony slips the punch.

and Pony counters with a crisp right hand that drops Gumption! Pony lets Gumption back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Gumption ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pony moves away.

Pony gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Gumption.
Gumption fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Pony has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Gumption bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Gumption waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Pony.
Pony looks like he wants to counter punch here.

and Pony counters with a nice right hand that sends Gumption toppling to the canvas! Gumption scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Pony finish him?!

Gumption motions for Pony to come forward. Gumption throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Pony takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Pony looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Gumption feints and then cracks Pony's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Pony down.

Gumption throws a hook to the side of Pony's head but Pony sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Pony throws out a counter right but Gumption avoids it with no problem.
Pony has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Gumption.
Pony defending well as Gumption loads up on a big left hand.
Pony is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

and Pony counters by moving into the clinch.

Gumption pushes Pony back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Pony is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Gumption is defending well for now.

Pony works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gumption throws a body shot but no joy.
Pony appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Gumption lets loose with a powerful body kick. Pony will feel that in the morning.
Gumption misses with a straight right.
And Pony responds with a good body kick, but Gumption manages to step out the way in time.
Gumption connects with a solid leg kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Pony on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Gumption lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Pony at a distance.
