The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Sergei Dronov and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tankersal drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tankersal is looking to work some ground and pound but Mayweather Ii has wrist control.
Mayweather Ii is looking to sweep but instead, Tankersal has passed into half guard.
Tankersal will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Tankersal wants to control but Mayweather Ii is keeping him busy.
Mayweather Ii makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Mayweather Ii.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mayweather Ii connects with a nice short shot to Tankersal's temple.

Tankersal knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mayweather Ii on the ground.

Mayweather Ii lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Tankersal quite badly. Tankersal pulls Mayweather Ii in close trying to recover. Mayweather Ii postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Tankersal on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Tankersal doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

In his post fight interview, Manny Mayweather Ii started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
