The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruickshank looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Pocc felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Pocc looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Cruickshank is defending well. Pocc quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Cruickshank has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Pocc celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
