Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kasey Haynes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nolan Knight!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Knight shoots in and bounces Haynes off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Haynes is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Haynes will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Haynes seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Knight wants to stand up but Haynes is controlling the position.
Haynes is trying to maintain the position but Knight is very close to passing his half guard.

Knight shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Haynes's guard.

Knight drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Haynes manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Knight has Haynes in his guard.

Knight wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Haynes manages to pass to side control.

Knight has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Haynes is working for a kimura but Knight is defending it quite comfortably.
Haynes wants to stand up but Knight has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

A close second round but Nolan Knight will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Kasey Haynes has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Nolan Knight is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Knight darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

I would just about give that final round to Nolan Knight.
Well Knight has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
