The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyaw Thin pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Tay back to the ropes. Kyaw Thin follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Chong Tay has been cut.
Kyaw Thin uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Chong Tay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A low kick from Tay misses
and Kyaw Thin counters with a three punch combo that has Tay backing up. Tay nods at Kyaw Thin to acknowledge the strikes.
Tay uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kyaw Thin.

Tay lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Kyaw Thin connects with a good right hand that stumbles Tay. Tay circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Tay looks to land a combination but Kyaw Thin avoids it well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kyaw Thin has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Tay steps in and throws a big head kick that drops Kyaw Thin to the mat! Kyaw Thin looks in trouble, can he beat the count? Tay is bouncing in a neutral corner joining in with the referee '4,5,6' they both chant. 7,8,9... he's not going to make it! 10! He's out! Tay jumps onto the ropes and takes in the acclaim from the crowd!

Chong Tay decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
