Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Denis Young (ranked 24806 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Pizarro (ranked 4928 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pizarro manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Young on his heels. He'll look to pass Young's guard now, I'm sure.
Young is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Young tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pizarro swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Young might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Pizarro misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Young throws a couple of elbows from the bottom.
Young wants to control but Pizarro postures up.
Young is working to avoid the ground and pound but Pizarro connects with a decent elbow.
Young is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Pizarro asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Pizarro has hold of Young's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Young tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Pizarro cranks the arm and Young screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Young, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
