Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between David Cain (ranked 768 p4p, 95 weight class) and Bonerz McGee (ranked 303 p4p, 40 weight class). Bonerz McGee has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 11 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, David Cain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bonerz McGee!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from McGee misses.
Cain swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and McGee counters with a two punch combo.
McGee throws a jab when Cain was well out of range.
A head kick from Cain lands but McGee takes it in his stride.

It looks like Bonerz McGee has been cut.
Cain throws a hook but McGee avoids it easily.
McGee throws a shot to the body.
McGee just misses with a punch to the body.
A swing and a miss from McGee.
Cain misses with a head kick.

Cain avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Cain throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
McGee feints a counter leg kick.
McGee lands a jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McGee thumps Cain with a low kick.

The crowd cheers as Cain lands an impressive looking overhand right. McGee doesn't seem phased though.
Cain keeps the fight on the outside.
Good leg kick by Cain there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

McGee manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Cain on his heels. He'll look to pass Cain's guard now, I'm sure.

McGee loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
McGee throws an elbow that misses. Cain uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in McGee's guard. Nice move by Cain!

McGee has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

McGee escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cain gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
McGee is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Cain got a little sloppy there for a moment and McGee has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cain has managed to get both his arms back between McGee's legs - danger averted.

McGee is looking for a triangle but Cain pushes his legs off easily.

McGee looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
McGee has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Cain has passed into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McGee tries to bench press Cain off him but Cain keeps the position.
Cain will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
McGee is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Cain is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

McGee is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

McGee tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Cain has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Cain prevents McGee from getting the reversal.

Cain trying to control but he's not successful this time.
McGee tries to reverse the position but Cain maintains control.

Cain get's back to his feet.
Cain misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from McGee.
Cain needs to keep his hands up - McGee had a free shot at his head there.
Cain goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that David Cain will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Bonerz McGee's cut.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

McGee tries to clinch but Cain is having none of it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cain. McGee does a little dance to reset his feet.
McGee scores with a head kick. Cain tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Cain is rocked!
McGee tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cain manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Oh Cain is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cain is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McGee.
Cain seems to have got his legs back now.
Cain really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
McGee works the jab nicely.
McGee throws a leg kick that misses.
Cain fakes the leg kick and cracks McGee in the body.
Cain goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
McGee throws a leg kick but Cain sees it coming and moves out of range.
Bonerz McGee seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Cain misses the shot to the body.
Cain darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
McGee scores with a punch to the head.
BOOM! McGee lands a beautiful left hook that drops Cain. Cain tries to recover but McGee is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Cain lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
