Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
devil misses with a head kick.
Leksell looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Leksell closes this distance looking for a takedown but devil circles away.

Leksell tries to lock up and control but devil gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, devil cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Leksell is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
devil tries to control but Leksell wriggling away.

The referee stands the fighters back up. speedy devil just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
devil looks to land a combination. Leksell sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

devil fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Leksell, pushing him back against the ropes.

devil pushes Leksell back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Leksell is breathing heavily.

devil is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Leksell can't fight it off and eventually devil manages to take the fight to the floor. Leksell looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

devil moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
devil lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

devil shoots in and bounces Leksell off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
devil stays in close to Leksell's body and controls the position.
devil might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Well, if devil is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Leksell is staying active underneath devil, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
