The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Growly to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Growly is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Growly cracks Jones with a solid left hand.
Growly passes into half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Growly connects with a nice short shot to Jones's temple.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Growly takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Growly moves nicely into side control.

Jones takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Jones is still in real trouble! Can Growly finish him?
Growly looks up at the clock and then as Jones takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Growly smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Growly has knee on belly and moves into mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Growly is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Jones goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Growly!
