Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Khon Saroth (ranked 24823 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deshawn Perrez (ranked 3876 p4p, 0 weight class). Saroth is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Deshawn Perrez will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Roberts and Franklyn Lucas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perrez tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Saroth defends well and Perrez ends up having to push Saroth into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Saroth is breathing heavily.

Perrez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Saroth to the mat! Saroth manages to get full guard.
Perrez is working Saroth over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Perrez postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Perrez with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Perrez postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Saroth is rocked!
Perrez gets to his feet and stands over Saroth, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Saroth felt that one! Perrez unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Saroth from any more punishment!
