The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yelnats throws a poor cross that misses
and Clark counters with a nice uppercut.
Yelnats with a lazy takedown attempt
and Clark counters with a big head kick but Yelnats shrugs it off.

Clark moves into the clinch.
Yelnats tries for a takedown. No joy.
Clark avoids a wild elbow strike from Yelnats .
Clark connects with a nasty looking knee right to Yelnats 's face.
Yelnats misses with a hook to the ribs.
Yelnats goes for a takedown in the clinch but Clark prevents it.
Kareem Clark has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stanley Yelnats .
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Clark's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Yelnats wants to break free but Clark has control.
Yelnats misses with a hook to the ribs.

Clark unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Yelnats wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Clark celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
