Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin McBride (ranked 4874 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Dority (ranked 3846 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin McBride!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Dority!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McBride moves away from the strike by Dority.
Dority throws a body punch but McBride moves out of range.
Dority lands a right hook to the body.
Dority rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting McBride counter with a right hand.
McBride has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Dority finds it's way round the side to connect with McBride's head.
McBride getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Dan Dority seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dority throws a right and a left that both miss.
McBride ducks under a wild hook from Dority.
Dority swings widly with a right hand
and McBride counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Dority keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
McBride walks into a straight right hand from Dority.
McBride throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dority looks to land a right hand but McBride moved out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McBride misses with a left hand
and Dority counters with a right hand to the body.
Dority gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Dority misses with a straight right.
Dority lands with an uppercut that bounces McBride off the cage and back into range.
Dority scores with a punch to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dority throws a body shot but no joy.
Dority is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McBride.
McBride bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
McBride slips under a jab from Dority.
A counter left hand to the body from McBride misses its target.
McBride slips a jab from Dority.
McBride closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
McBride is rocked!
McBride switches off momentarily and Dority cracks him with a monster right hand! McBride topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Dority dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Dority!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dan Dority!
Dan Dority tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
