Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Finko Naikkorine (ranked 24286 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Heart (ranked 3843 p4p, 0 weight class). Naikkorine comes to the cage accompanied by Mexico - The Dead Daisies. Heart is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Eric Church - Record Year. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

18 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Peter Heart!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heart cracks Naikkorine with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Naikkorine shoots for a takedown but Heart saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Despite the aggression on Heart's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Naikkorine drives through with a takedown into guard.
Naikkorine advances to half guard.
Naikkorine is trying to control the action in half guard but Heart is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Heart is trying to get back to full guard.
Heart is holding on to half guard well.
Naikkorine is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Heart gets back to full guard.

Naikkorine looking to sit in guard and control but Heart gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Heart engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Heart lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Naikkorine working a defensive guard but Heart passes into half guard.
Heart winds up and cracks Naikkorine with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Naikkorine manages to get to full guard.

Heart chips away with some ground and pound.

Heart slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Naikkorine is breathing heavily.
Heart is continuing to stall.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Heart is working Naikkorine over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Heart working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Naikkorine's head.
Heart chips away with some ground and pound.
Heart keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Naikkorine's head.

Heart's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Heart connects with a couple of short punches.
Heart scoring with punches to the head and body.
Oh Naikkorine is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Naikkorine seems to have got his legs back now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Heart slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Heart seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Heart with a nice head shot there.

Naikkorine is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Naikkorine has momentary wrist control but Heart slips an elbow through the middle.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Heart distracts Naikkorine with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Heart postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Naikkorine covers up, he's hurt! Heart keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Heart and the ref steps in to end the fight! Heart can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Peter Heart!
In his post fight interview, Peter Heart started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
