Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brett Duggon (ranked 4939 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jakub Seidel (ranked 5030 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jakub Seidel!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Seidel darts in and clinches Duggon up against the cage.
Duggon jumps guard but Seidel stands there with Duggon around his waist. Duggon gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Duggon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Seidel fails to land with a series of punches.
Seidel is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Duggon changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Seidel fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Duggon, pushing him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Duggon is looking for a takedown.

Duggon breaks the clinch.
Seidel defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Duggon.

Horrible takedown attempt by Duggon or perhaps it was just good defense by Seidel, which made it look bad.

Duggon goes for a takedown in the clinch but Seidel prevents it.

Duggon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Seidel moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

and Duggon holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Duggon is trying to pull guard but Seidel turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Duggon is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Seidel keeping moving, preventing Duggon from controlling successfully.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Seidel can do anything to dispel that myth.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Seidel fails with an attempt to clinch.
Duggon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Seidel counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A nice combination there by Seidel.

Seidel wants to break free but Duggon has control.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Duggon stops Seidel from getting back to his feet.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Duggon fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Seidel avoids it really well and circles away.

Duggon changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Seidel fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Seidel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Duggon moves away.

Seidel gets caught napping as Duggon dives in and scores a takedown. Seidel manages to retain guard.

Duggon prevents Seidel from getting back to his feet.
Duggon seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Seidel is breathing heavily.
Duggon's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Seidel throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Duggon.
Nice takedown defense from Seidel. No joy for Duggon on that attempt.
Duggon takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Seidel tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Duggon paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Seidel tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Duggon manages to move to mount!
Duggon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Jakub Seidel showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!


No luck with that takedown attempt from Duggon.
Duggon takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Seidel tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Duggon paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Duggon misses with a takedown attempt - Seidel sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Duggon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Seidel tries to avoid it but Duggon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Seidel to the ground. Seidel escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Seidel wants to stand but Duggon has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Seidel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Duggon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Duggon is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Seidel takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Duggon is nestled in close to Seidel, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Seidel is in trouble now - Duggon has advanced to mount!

Seidel is desperately trying to improve his position but Duggon has a good base and remains in mount.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Jakub Seidel is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The referee warns Seidel that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Brett Duggon.
I think Seidel has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
