The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maroto wants to clinch.
Maroto is trying hard to land a takedown here. Plus sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Maroto tries for a takedown but Plus sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Maroto fails in his attempt to clinch.
Maroto lands with a nice body punch.
Plus moves into the clinch.
Maroto drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Plus lands a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
No joy there for Plus, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Plus looking to score a takedown here. Maroto is defending well but Plus drives through and ends up in Maroto's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Plus accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Plus wants to pass the guard but Maroto is keeping the position.
Plus working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Maroto's head.
Plus passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Maroto might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Plus tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Plus unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Maroto wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Plus celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
