The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rinaldi shoots in for a double leg but Growly sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Growly drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Rinaldi is not content to let Growly control the position.
Growly landing strikes.
Rinaldi is working to avoid the ground and pound but Growly connects with a decent elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Growly is looking to take a break and control but Rinaldi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Growly in side control lands a decent elbow.
