Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Robert Talahuza!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Francis DeMontford.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Talahuza closes the distance and clinches.
Talahuza prevents a takedown attempt there.
Castro tries to score a body lock takedown but Talahuza shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Talahuza breaks the clinch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Castro looking for a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Buford Castro. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Talahuza is pressed up against the cage. Castro has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Talahuza down to the mat. Talahuza avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Robert Talahuza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Talahuza's corner calls for a 1-2. Talahuza obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Castro avoids a punch combination nicely.
Castro really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Castro clinches up with Talahuza and pushes him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Talahuza breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Talahuza takes the fight into the clinch.
Castro changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Talahuza fights it off and pushes away nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Talahuza lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Castro can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Talahuza and Castro drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Talahuza.
