The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cunningham doesn't manage to clinch there - Nazarethyan circles away.

and Nazarethyan moves into the clinch.

Cunningham breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Nazarethyan unleashes a big counter combination but Cunningham bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cunningham manages to break the clinch.
Percy Cunningham seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cunningham moves in looking to clinch but Nazarethyan pushes him off.
Nazarethyan steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Cunningham.
Cunningham rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nazarethyan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nazarethyan unleashes a big counter combination but Cunningham bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Nazarethyan thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Cunningham if he has to take too many more of those.

and Nazarethyan counters with a nice low kick that buckles Cunningham's knee momentarily.

Cunningham gets caught napping as Nazarethyan dives in and scores a takedown. Cunningham manages to retain guard.

Still in half guard, Nazarethyan seems content to control.

Nazarethyan is landing with some decent strikes but Cunningham is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Nazarethyan! Cunningham is hurt baaadly! Nazarethyan is firing away with more strikes - Cunningham is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
