Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Emelianenko (ranked 4911 p4p, 450 weight class) and Vincenzo Lambrucci (ranked 3155 p4p, 345 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexander Emelianenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vincenzo Lambrucci!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lambrucci works Emelianenko's body with a nice hook.
Vincenzo Lambrucci seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lambrucci gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Lambrucci manages to break the clinch.
Emelianenko looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Lambrucci keeps the fight on the outside.
Emelianenko tries to clinch there but Lambrucci circles away.
Lambrucci misses with a double jab.
Emelianenko throws a head kick but Lambrucci moves out of range.
Lambrucci darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
It looks like Alexander Emelianenko has been cut.
Lambrucci slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Emelianenko is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lambrucci sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Lambrucci lands a left and a right that send Emelianenko crashing to the mat, dazed. Lambrucci thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Emelianenko takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Lambrucci avoids a punch combination nicely.
Emelianenko takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Alexander Emelianenko's cut is getting worse.
Lambrucci lands a big right hand that sends Emelianenko crashing to the mat! Lambrucci stays standing though and waves Emelianenko back to his feet!
Emelianenko is rocked!
Lambrucci moves into the clinch.
Oh Emelianenko is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Emelianenko is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Emelianenko seems to have got his legs back now.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lambrucci works on Emelianenko's body with a couple of short punches.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Lambrucci takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Emelianenko is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Lambrucci slowing the pace effectively.
Emelianenko can't find room to land a body shot as Lambrucci controls the action.
Emelianenko is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Lambrucci gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexander Emelianenko. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lambrucci blocks a body shot from Emelianenko.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Emelianenko goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Emelianenko tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Lambrucci just stands there and leans against the cage.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Emelianenko wants to get back to striking at distance but Lambrucci won't allow it.
Emelianenko fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Lambrucci escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Emelianenko has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Alexander Emelianenko's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lambrucci's jab looks to have found its range, popping Emelianenko under the eye.
Sloppy strikes from Lambrucci. Those never looked like landing.
Emelianenko feinted there with a counter leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vincenzo Lambrucci dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Alexander Emelianenko's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Emelianenko throws a head kick that misses
and Lambrucci counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Emelianenko doesn't manage to clinch there - Lambrucci circles away.
Emelianenko tries to clinch but Lambrucci is having none of it.
Emelianenko on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Lambrucci feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Emelianenko sprawling to the canvas! Emelianenko rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Lambrucci finish him?!
Jeez, Alexander Emelianenko's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Emelianenko goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Emelianenko gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Lambrucci is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Lambrucci lands a left hand.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Alexander Emelianenko's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
