The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Runtiringeni lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bruce circles away quickly and effectively.
Bruce lands with a slapping head kick.

Runtiringeni rushes Bruce and presses him up against the cage.
Runtiringeni misses with a hook from the clinch.
Bruce is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Runtiringeni is defending well for now.

Bruce lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Bruce tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Runtiringeni avoids it.

Bruce tries to bum rush Runtiringeni with a series of wild strikes but Runtiringeni uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bruce misses with a few strikes there.
Good leg kick by Bruce there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Bruce looks to score with a jab to the body but Runtiringeni is just out of range.
Runtiringeni is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Bruce throws a head kick but Runtiringeni moves out of range.

Runtiringeni has hold of Bruce's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Bruce seems comfortable defending it but Runtiringeni has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Bruce is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Bruce is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Runtiringeni couldn't care less - he's delighted!
