The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dekkers drops Joseph with a nice combination! Dekkers dives into Joseph's guard, looking to finish!

It looks like Jesus Joseph has been cut.
Dekkers's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Dekkers pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Joseph is keeping the position for now.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Dekkers has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Joseph takes a jab right on the kisser.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Dekkers throws a nice inside leg kick.
Joseph on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Dekkers lands with a shot to the body.

Dekkers lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Joseph sprawling to the canvas. Dekkers follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Joseph hang on?

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dekkers in particular looking to stall.

Dekkers looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

BOOM! Dekkers lands a beautiful left hook that drops Joseph. Joseph tries to recover but Dekkers is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Joseph lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
