Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flamengo shoots in for a double leg but darling sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A head kick misses from darling.
darling rushes Flamengo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Flamengo is trying to drag darling to the mat but darling just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
darling breaks from the clinch.
darling is looking to clinch but Flamengo is avoiding it.
darling doesn't manage to clinch there - Flamengo circles away.
darling tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No luck for Flamengo with that takedown attempt.

darling tries to close the distance and clinch up but Flamengo swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and darling counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

darling really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Flamengo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Flamengo is looking for a triangle but darling pushes his legs off easily.

Flamengo wants to sweep here but darling controlling him for the moment.
darling must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as darling accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Flamengo is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! darling rolls with it to try and escape but Flamengo cranks on the arm and darling is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
