The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tact moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Tact should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Tact has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Tate Jr.
Tate Jr connects with a body shot.
Tate Jr buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Tate Jr rushes Tact and presses him up against the ropes.

Tact replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Tate Jr blocks it well.

Tact tries to stall but Tate Jr uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Tate Jr will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tact tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Tate Jr bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Tact tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Tate Jr manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

The fighters are pressed against the ropes, as the pace of the fight slows.
Tate Jr lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Tate Jr digs a right hand into Tact 's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Tact 's gas tank.

Tact tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Tate Jr breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tate Jr tries a head kick but it misses.
Tact shapes to counter with a head kick.
Tact is looking to clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Curtis Tate Jr dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Ricky Tact 's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Tate Jr scores with a head kick. Tact tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Tact throws an off balance right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Tate Jr clips Tact with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Tact a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.

Tact is rocked!
Tact throws a front kick aimed at Tate Jr's knee but Tate Jr avoids it well.

Tate Jr moves into the clinch successfully.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tact wants to get back to striking at distance but Tate Jr won't allow it.
Tate Jr tries a knee to the head but Tact blocks it.

Tate Jr breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tact throws a right and a left that Tate Jr avoids nicely.
Tate Jr thuds a left hand into Tact 's body.

Tact has had enough of the clinch but Tate Jr keeps him there for the moment.
Tact is breathing heavily.

Curtis Tate Jr is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The crowd cheers as Tate Jr lands an impressive looking overhand right. Tact doesn't seem phased though.

Tate Jr closes the distance and lands a lead uppercut that stumbles Tact back against the ropes! Tate Jr follows up with a jab and a huge straight right that knocks Tact out cold! What a finish! Tate Jr looks absolutely delighted, as he should do! Congratulations that man!
