The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gallo uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
A jab from Gallo does it's job there.
Gallo lands with an overhand left.
Zama gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Gallo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Zama.

Zama staggers Gallo with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Gallo looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! Just in time and the ref is going to let the fight continue!

It looks like Mario Gallo has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gallo looks to score with a jab to the body but Zama is just out of range.

Gallo throws a right hand that misses
and Zama counters with a huge right that knocks Gallo out cold! Zama is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!

After winning the bout, Silo Zama thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
