Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Pacer Dalton (ranked 1313 p4p, 181 weight class) and Trevor Fitch (ranked 5933 p4p, 461 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 4 losses; Pacer Dalton! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 1 losses; Trevor Fitch!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Dalton manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Fitch on his heels. He'll look to pass Fitch's guard now, I'm sure.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dalton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fitch swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Fitch had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dalton defends it easily.
Dalton engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dalton's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Dalton slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Fitch is letting Dalton control him for a moment.
Dalton seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Fitch for as long as he can get away with.

Dalton has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Dalton looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Fitch is looking to regain half guard here but Dalton keeps moving and retains side control.
The referee asks Dalton politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Dalton prefers to stall for the moment though.
This is a sustained period of stalling by Dalton.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fitch can do anything to dispel that myth.

Dalton continues to stall.

Dalton is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fitch is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Dalton just content to control the position.

You can see the frustration on Fitch's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Dalton is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Dalton continues to hold on tight.
More hug and hope from Dalton.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Dalton is stinking the place up with his stalling.
Fitch is trying to improve his position.
Dalton moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Fitch should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Dalton is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Fitch's shoulder. That is not cool.
Fitch is trying to control Dalton's posture but Dalton avoids it.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Fitch is trying to improve his position.
Fitch is trying to escape the position but Dalton is controlling the position.

Fitch is trying to get back to half guard.
Dalton is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Fitch's shoulder. That is not cool.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

And that's the end of the fight!
Dalton takes the fight on points by 5 to 0.
