Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Steve (ranked 1609 p4p, 49 weight class) and Greg Bell (ranked 1759 p4p, 87 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Brock Steve!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Greg Bell!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and .




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bell pushes Steve up against the cage in a clinch.

Steve breaks the clinch.
Bell gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Steve counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bell thinking.
Steve seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
No luck for Bell with that takedown attempt.
Bell rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Steve moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bell has his takedown stuffed
and Steve makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Brock Steve has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Greg Bell.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A decent looking cross lands there for Steve.
Bell throws a predictable looking body shot
and Steve counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

As Bell looks to move away, Steve throws a big counter combo but Bell just gets out of the way.

and Steve counters with a series of strikes. Bell will be more careful next time no doubt.

Steve shoots for a takedown but Bell saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Steve bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
It looked like Steve was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

and Steve counters with a nice uppercut.
Steve ducks under a wild hook from Bell.

Bell gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Steve to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Bell is looking for a triangle but Steve pushes his legs off easily.
Bell has a closed guard, preventing Steve from standing up.

Bell controls Steve momentarily but Steve frees himself.
Bell seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Bell throws a lazy head kick
and Steve counters with a three punch combo that has Bell backing up. Bell nods at Steve to acknowledge the strikes.
Bell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Steve manages to avoid it.
The fighters circling - Bell throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Steve thuds a left hand into Bell's body.
Steve throws a series of strikes that have Bell backpedaling.
Greg Bell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bell throws a sloppy head kick
and Steve counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Steve lands with a good body shot.
Steve scores with a body shot.
Steve tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bell paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Steve tries to avoid it but Bell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Steve to the ground. Steve escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Steve counters with a stiff right hand.

Steve defending well as Bell loads up on a big left hand.
Bell fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Bell shoots and misses
and Steve counters with a left to the body.
Steve leaves Bell with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bell looks winded!
Bell takes a kick to the side of the head.
Steve looks to land a combination. Bell sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Bell tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Steve defends well and Bell ends up having to push Steve into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Bell throws a sloppy head kick
and Steve connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Steve displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bell throws out the jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Bell shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Steve as he jumps to the side.
Steve is looking to counter the offense by Bell and move into the clinch.
Steve scores with a body shot.
Brock Steve is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Bell tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Steve counters with a left to the body.
Bell throws a head kick but Steve moves out of range.
A counter left hand to the body from Steve misses its target.
Bell shoots in looking for a takedown but Steve manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bell's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Bell throws a right and a left that Steve avoids nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Steve shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Bell eats them both and turns towards Steve to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Bell has his takedown stuffed
and Steve counters with a three punch combo that has Bell backing up. Bell nods at Steve to acknowledge the strikes.
Brock Steve has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Greg Bell.
Bell is breathing heavily.

Steve lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bell backs up against the cage.

Steve gets caught napping as Bell dives in and scores a takedown. Steve manages to retain guard.
Bell wants to control from the top but Steve keeps moving.
Bell is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bell throws a strike but Steve rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Bell looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Steve decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bell, up you get!

Bell gets the takedown into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Steve managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Bell.

Bell throws an elbow but Steve slips to the side and avoids it well.

Bell thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Bell wants to control for a moment but Steve uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Bell throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Steve blocking the ground and pound attempt from Bell.
Steve wants to get back to his feet.
Bell sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Steve defending well though.
Bell looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Greg Bell has got the better of the ground game so far.
Bell looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Bell tries to pass the half guard into mount. Steve knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Still in half guard, Bell seems content to control.
Bell thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Steve's head.

Bell seems to be looking for submissions.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Bell doesn't manage to clinch there - Steve circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brock Steve dominated that second round.
That's time! Steve's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Bell fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Steve avoids it really well and circles away.
Steve fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bell looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Steve closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bell quickly recovers to half guard.

Bell is trying to maintain the position but Steve is very close to passing his half guard.

Steve wants to stand but Bell has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Bell is controlling Steve's position as best he can from this difficult position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bell is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Bell is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Steve pulls his head out easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bell tries to roll over but Steve keeps him under control.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Steve scores with a hook to the body. Bell takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Bell misses with a takedown attempt - Steve sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Steve fails with a takedown attempt.
Bell drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Steve defends it well.
Steve connects with a body shot.
Bell stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bell wants it to stay on the feet.

Bell throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A right-left combo lands from Steve.
Steve scores with a three punch combo!
Bell misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Steve lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bell at a distance.
Bell throws a low kick but Steve avoids it.
Bell lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Steve circles away quickly and effectively.
Bell takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Bell swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Steve appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Steve shoots in but Bell avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brock Steve. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bell thows a leg kick but Steve checks it
and Steve counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A head kick by Bell misses
and Steve counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Steve has closed the distance and engaged Bell in a clinch.
Steve is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Bell tries to pull guard but Steve forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Bell gets control of Steve's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bell will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Greg Bell has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Bell is working an open guard so Steve takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
Brock Steve showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Steve has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
