The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Misping is looking to score with low kicks.
Misping misses with a kick to the body

and Beasley counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Beasley is standing up over Misping. Misping looks to escape but Beasley dives into side control.
Misping really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Beasley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Misping tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Beasley wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Beasley is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Misping looks calm but he's in trouble here. Beasley gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Misping is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Beasley lets go of the hold and Misping can pop his arm back in it's socket.
