Mac's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Ill Bill - War Is My Destiny (Feat Immortal Technique & Max Cavalera). Jake Jordan has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordan blocks a head kick by Mac.
Mac tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Jordan checks a leg kick.
Jordan throws a head kick that misses.
Mac misses with a wild body shot.
Mac misses the shot to the body.
Jordan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mac uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jordan.
Jordan lands a two punch combo.
Mac looks for the body kick but Jordan saw that one coming.
A clash of legs there as Jordan blocks the low kick.

Jordan clinches up against the cage.

Mac can't break the clinch.
Jordan lands a left hand that snaps the head of Mac backwards.
Jordan unloads a knee to the mid-section. Mac lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Jake Jordan.
Mac wants to land a leg kick but Jordan is out of range.
Jordan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mac.
Mac throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jordan's waist but Jordan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mac off to one side.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Mac tries for a takedown but Jordan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Mac counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Mac thows a body shot but no joy.
Jordan throws a right and a left that Mac avoids nicely.
Mac throws a sloppy head kick and Jordan moves out of range easily.
Jordan looks to land a body kick but Mac moved away.

Mac drives through with a takedown into guard.
Mac throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Mac is looking to work some ground and pound but Jordan has wrist control.
Jordan keeping moving, preventing Mac from controlling successfully.
Jordan is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Mac looking to sit in guard and control but Jordan gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Mac wants to sweep but no luck.

Mac is striking but Jordan is not phased and passes to half guard.
Mac is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jordan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mac.
Jordan swats away the attempt to clinch by Mac.
Mac seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Jordan shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Mac is backing up but Jordan catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Mac covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Jordan Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jake Jordan! Jake Jordan retains his welterweight title!
