Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Eriksson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Go Yamamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eriksson's entrance music is Requiem For a Dream. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yamamoto throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like Ivan Eriksson has been cut.
Yamamoto's corner calls for a 1-2. Yamamoto obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Eriksson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Yamamoto.
Yamamoto takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Eriksson lands with an overhand left.
Eriksson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Yamamoto tries to clinch there but Eriksson circles away.
Eriksson wants to slow Yamamoto down by chopping away at his legs.
Yamamoto avoids a punch combination nicely.
Eriksson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Yamamoto throws out the jab.

The fighters circle, before Yamamoto throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Eriksson's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Yamamoto lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
