Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bessarion Alexius (ranked 356 p4p, 57 weight class) and Piranha Chonan (ranked 754 p4p, 110 weight class). Alexius's entrance music is A Country Boy Can Survive. A fine choice. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexius lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Alexius is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Chonan is keeping busy.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bessarion Alexius.
Well Alexius has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Bessarion Alexius rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
