Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buck Nutt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Newman Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nutt's entrance music is seek n destroy. A fine choice. Buck Nutt has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nutt swinging wilding here.
Nutt shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Nutt misses with a jab, cross combination.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Ferguson.

Ferguson is trying to get an arm triangle but Nutt is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ferguson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Nutt is just riding it out for now. Ferguson eventually gives up the hold.

Ferguson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Nutt sees it coming and defends easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ferguson.
Nutt misses with a few strikes there.
Nutt rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ferguson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Nutt shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ferguson's guard.

Nutt is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Ferguson has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Nutt is looking to defend but Ferguson has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Nutt! Ferguson pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Nutt taps out and this one is all over!
