Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wilner Fatiman (ranked 3249 p4p, 160 weight class) and Zhan Dhelan (ranked 3368 p4p, 166 weight class). Fatiman comes into the arena with Zion Train blaring out of the sound system. Wilner Fatiman has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zhan Dhelan!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dhelan clinches up with Fatiman and pushes him back against the cage.
Dhelan tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Fatiman smiles and moves away.
Dhelan takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
We've been informed that Dhelan has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Fatiman rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dhelan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Wilner Fatiman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fatiman throws out a loose jab but Dhelan uses good head movement to avoid it.
It seemed like Dhelan was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Dhelan closes the distance and clinches.
Dhelan tries to throw a body punch but Fatiman avoids it by throwing Dhelan back against the cage.
Dhelan gets control of Fatiman's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dhelan will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Dhelan has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Fatiman has passed into side control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fatiman decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Fatiman pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Dhelan back to the cage. Fatiman follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Fatiman just misses with a punch to the body.
Dhelan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Dhelan is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Fatiman to keep the fight standing.
Dhelan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fatiman walks away with a smile on his face. Dhelan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Wilner Fatiman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zhan Dhelan.
Fatiman just misses with a punch to the body.

Fatiman instigates a clinch.
Dhelan manages to pull guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dhelan is on top in guard.

Fatiman is sitting in close to Dhelan's body. Dhelan has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Fatiman is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Fatiman is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Dhelan.

After the fight, Zhan Dhelan was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
