Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Criss Lebenanski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ed Feng!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Lebenanski misses

and Feng counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Lebenanski scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Feng manages to mount him!
Feng controlling his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Feng scoring with strikes but Lebenanski is staying in there.

The referee warns Lebenanski that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Feng really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lebenanski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lebenanski sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Feng tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.

Lebenanski misses with a takedown attempt

and Feng holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Feng is looking to stand up but Lebenanski won't let him.

Feng with a flurry of punches that miss.
Lebenanski is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Feng has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Lebenanski manages to work his way to half guard, despite Feng's best efforts.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Lebenanski wants to stand back up but Feng manages to pass into side control.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ed Feng showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!


Lebenanski shoots in but Feng avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Feng leaves Lebenanski with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Feng shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lebenanski as he avoids it easily.
Lebenanski shoots for a double leg takedown but Feng sprawls well. He's pushed Lebenanski's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Criss Lebenanski. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Feng decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lebenanski's guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Feng has managed to clinch.

and Feng counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Lebenanski kicks Feng off and gets to his feet.
Criss Lebenanski is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Lebenanski gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Feng to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Feng takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Feng sitting in guard here, content to control.

Feng wants to pass the guard but Lebenanski is keeping the position.

Lebenanski is trying to keep Feng in close.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Lebenanski has his feet on Feng's thighs here. He's pushed Feng off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Feng screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
